I wonder if one's image of God can become truer. It seems to me that images and God should keep well apart. I think it is best to put aside images in order to allow God to come to you. God cannot be contained in an image.

I don't think Chopra's talking about images in the sense of a photograph or a visualization. I take it to mean one's experience of God and that He/She is in relation to oneself and the universe. As one grows, one tends to grow away from the grey-haired old man image that many of us were told about when we were young.
